Day 13/365

 

We chose Chili's for lunch today after church.  If you haven't tried their skillet chocolate chip cookie topped with ice cream yet, you should.  So good!! 

Brady has a cool new shorter hair do.  Isn't he mighty handsome!

Day 12/365

Brady and Maddie did great today!  I took my camera but not the memory card...ugh!  Next week I will have better pics.

Day 11/365

 

Today was a slow day and I don't have much to write about.  I did take our coins to Walmart to one of those counting machines.  They wanted 9.8 cents for every dollar.  What!  So I bought paper rolls to do it ourselves and saved $5. 

Tomorrow Brady has his first basketball game and Maddie will be cheering as well.  It will be interesting but fun to watch I'm sure.

Day 10/365

 

Tonight at Upward cheerleading practice Maddie kept doing the splits.  She would get further and further down each time.  By the time I decided to take a picture, she had gotten it down but it HURT.  There were almost tears after and I just had to post the pic with proof of the pain. 

I dropped and shattered the screen on my newer iphone so Preston fixed the SIM card to fit into my old one.  The camera STINKS and I can't wait until I can upgrade again.  He also bought a new screen and tools to fix it online, had everything out and as he was putting it back together broke a cable (wire) strip that makes the touch screen work.  Now my phone looks pretty again, I just can't open the screen.  ;(

Love having Preston home this week!  I am blessed!

All A's!!!!

Day 9/365

 

First of all, I have to brag on my kiddos report cards.  Brady had all A's and Maddie had all +'s!!!  I am very proud of them!

Doesn't she look 13 in this picture?  She is growing and changing so much. 

Today we picked Maddie up from school and headed to Paris so Preston could get finger printed for a concealed handgun license.  He has his testing this weekend.  As soon as we got back it was time for church so Maddie ate a late supper tonight in her pj's and ear muffs, of course.  Lol! 

I threw in a picture of Lucy just for fun.  Last night she ate the head off of Maddie's new little wooden horse she got for Christmas.  I hope I can repair it somehow, but have my doubts.  :(

Day 8/365

 

Brady and Maddie had a great day back at school.  At 4 Maddie had gymnastics, 5:15 Brady and I had taekwondo, and finally at 6 was Maddie's Tiny Tigers taekwondo class.  We ate at one of our favorite Mexican food places and I ordered a side of their "killer" beans with flour tortillas.  YUM!  Come visit and we will most likely take you there.  So as I look back at my week thus far, I have talked mostly about food and sleeping... I apologize.  I live an extremely simple uneventful life.  And I'm definitely ok with that!

Day 7/365

 

Preston helped the kids shoot bb guns this afternoon.  Oh my did they have a blast!  A few hours later I noticed Maddie had a rash all over her so we headed to the Dr.  Thankfully it was just hives, but now I need to figure out what caused it.  School starts in the morning...boo!  They are excited and I guess I am too, except for the whole waking up early part.  One of these days I am going to magically become a morning person.
