Thrifting Thursdays: Retro Patio Furniture

I love, love, love my thrifty find this week!!!

My mom spotted this set at the Goodwill store and when I saw it was only $40 I had to have it. I first thought I would paint it a fun color, but I'm not sure now. I may just try to touch up the wood or sand and restain it. We went to Pier1 and bought new cushions for it and it looks great out on the deck! I don't have pictures of it all fixed up yet. Anyway, I am so excited to now have some comfy chairs outside so we can sit together and enjoy these beautiful spring (soon to be summer) evenings.

Thrifting Thursdays: Red Rain Boots

This week I found the most darling red rain boots! The lady at the antique store said they were found in the upstairs of an old shoe store when it was being cleaned out.

They are such a fun find!
