I have a question for ya?

If you have hurt some one's feelings and you know that you have, how do you handle the situation?  Not how we "feel" like handling it, but what is the RIGHT way?

Obvisiously you wouldn't want to point it out to everyone that so and so got their feelings hurt.  Noooo!
You wouldn't keep doing whatever it was that was hurtful, right?  Nooooo!

Those are pretty obvious things you wouldn't do, but what is the right thing to do?

I'd love to hear your opinion!

  1. Pray, if you do it your way, it's probably gonna up worse than the original wrong. I know I've been in this situation many times in my reality we all have, but without a doubt at some point you need to try to make it right, then quit carrying around the baggage and let go. The other person has to either accept and forgive as God forgives us or they don't. It then becomes their CHOICE to Forgive if you ask or not forgive and live with that. The Bible say we must forgive even as God has forgiven us to enter into the kingdom of Heaven.

  2. I agree. Why not say I'm sorry and ask for forgiveness whether you even meant to hurt their feelings or not. I think our actions will show whether or not we are truly sorry. If someone tells me they are sorry but then publicly says I don't know why your feelings were hurt, I am probably not going to believe they are truly sorry. It's almost like people get their feelings hurt because someone told them they hurt their feelings? I say if your going to apologize then your actions need to back it up. Don't try to make people feel worse or stupid for letting you know that their feelings were hurt. BE GROWN UP ABOUT IT! We all make mistakes and it's ok to say I'm sorry...I really shouldn't have said/done that. I think that's a great way to work on earning someones respect.

  3. Here I am being all passive aggressive on my blog...just what I really can't stand when other people do it! LOL!
