Our week of firsts!

Maddie's first day of Kindergarten went great!  But....before the day was over she said, "I wish I didn't have to go to school EVERY day."

She had her first gymnastics class and did such a good job.

On Monday I ran my first 5k!!!  It was so much fun and although I didn't run it fast (my time was 37:54), I learned some very valuable lessons for races to follow!  ;-)  Thank you Kristan for talking me into it and running with me!

Oh Lucy, what shall we do with you?

She looks pretty sweet, doesn't she? Well she is...most of the time.

 

She LOVES to play!  (and poke holes in the pool)

Oh how she LOVES Miss Maddie!  (and jumping on her and everyone else)

But her obsession is chewing.  On EVERYTHING!  Grrrrrrr!!!

But we still love her dearly.  (Who wouldn't with that face?)

Next week brings kindergarten for her and a 5k race for me...kind of a big week!

2nd grade, here he comes!!!

Back to school!!! Brady started 2nd grade today and was so excited he couldn't get to sleep last night. Maddie starts kindergarten on the 4th and just can't stand Brady being at school already!  For fun let's take a look back...

Taekwondo

Last week the kids and I started Taekwondo classes. It's a pretty good workout and that's just what we need! I took this pic after their first class. When I said "pose" for me, this is what I got. LOL! They are too cute!
