Day 1/365
Project 365 is going to be fun and probably a little bit challenging for me to keep up with at times!
Today we did absolutely nothing but hang out and clean a little. We have one week of vacation left before school starts back up and we get busy again. Preston is off tomorrow and we hope to get out of the house and have a some fun!
Did anyone make some new year resolutions?
I have a few goals and things I want to work on this year:
*the biggest being losing 50-60 lbs!
(I'm 30 lbs down but have a ways to go =)
*read the Bible through this year
(have never done, but always wanted to!)
*run a 10k!!!!!
(or at least another 5k or 2 ;-)
*keep up with house work better
(I think this one is on my list every year...)
*put away the sweat pants and dress up more often
(I always feel better when I do!)
I'm not giving up anything at all...just want to find a good balance!
I'm so glad your blogging again! I love the idea of a picture a day! I might try that, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I hope you do the pic a day too! It would be neat to make a book at the end of the year and do one each year!
DeleteHi Sara Terry here. Happy New Year from Harriett and I! Yes! A photo a day my goal is a scan a day. As you know, I received 1000s of negatives (I'm not exaggerating either) from photos long gone. The ones I'm scanning first are the old Kodacolor photos that are 60+ years old. I will be sending you an email about it all.
ReplyDeleteTake care! Terry and Harriett
Oh my that is a lot of pictures! I would feel so overwhelmed, but just take it one day at a time. Many generations to come will be enjoying them. Thank you for emailing me the two beautiful photos today! They had such great style! :-)
DeleteGood new year resolutions Sarah! As for me, I read this old fashioned resolution posted in a book by Bishop John H Vincent. It helps to read it everyday. Too much to remember otherwise! :)
ReplyDeleteA resolve for every morning of the new year. I will this day try to live a simple and sincere and serene life*repelling promptly every thought of discontent, anxiety, discouragement, impurity, and self-seeking*cultivating cheerfulness, magnanimity, charity, and the habit of holy silence. Exercising econemy in expenditure, carefulness in conversation, diligence in appointed service, fidelity to every trust, and a child like trust in God. Seems he covered it all!
What a great daily resolution!!! Thank you for sharing it with me!
